Reggie Winans, Owner, CEO, has had a love for the music field since he was a young boy. As a child, he played various instruments.

While in High School when he wasn't playing sports, he would attend parties where he would study the DJ's style and technique.

In college he would assist a friend who was a DJ with his gigs and fill in when he took a break.

In 1990, Reggie started Soul Music Entertainment.

Born Uptown in Harlem NYC and Growing up in Jamaica Queens during the"Funky" 70's, Curtis took full advantage of all the City's lore, developing his gifted ear while playing Drums and Keyboards in a Band called Mid-Evil and "Spinning Hot Wax" during the Band Breaks.

In 1978 Curtis knew he had a gift, packed his Gallant Talent and Prolific Personality and Moved to Los Angeles with Two Turntables and a Mic.

While most DJ's were still spinning on "reel to reel", DJ Curtis has been keeping it "REAL" ever since... His list of "Special Event Clients" include Dignitaries such as Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu and Legendary Musical Genius Stevie Wonder.
